How can Profile help me?

Strategies for managing people that are designed to promote equality of opportunity in the development of the organisation’s people is captured within  indicator  3 both within the Investors in People Standard and Profile. However, it is within Profile that diversity is captured explicitly and organisations are encouraged to look beyond the Investors in People Standard:

  • Show how diversity is mainstreamed, promoted and encouraged within the organisation and how people are engaged in doing so

  • Have recruitment and selection processes in place that people believe are fair, efficient, effective and meet the needs of the organisation

  • Promote equality in the workplace and manage the diverse needs of your workforce, and show that people believe these differences are valued

  • Support the diverse workforce you have by having a work-life balance strategy in place that supports their needs and those of the organisation

  • Create an environment where the giving and receiving of feedback is encouraged, valued and acted upon

Make the most of people’s talents to achieve their potential.
